The ITSCA, the International Theater School of Art Commitment, is set to become within the framework of the project “It can be done” a very special theater school.
Starting from the autumn workshop, ITSCA aims to become a almost completely free free theater school.
The ‘almost’ is that we will ask the students to leave a fixed contribution (including accommodation, breakfast and dinner) and a donation to cover the current costs associated with the general organization and the cost of the teachers. Here the details
The courses will focus on blocks of one week or 10 days, at the time concentrated in three periods of the year: October, Easter holidays, summer.
The second peculiarity of what we propose is that ITSCA, in this new dress, will be an extremely selective theater school. But it will not be in any case a selection based on the economic possibilities of the participants.
The physical structure of the place where we work allows in fact for now only a closed number of 6 pupils.
We want to turn particular attention to young actors with no financial means to offer them a full immersion workshop in a place that gives us beyond the beauty of the landscape the possibility of maximum concentration.
What will be decisive for accepting the application will be personal motivation, the passion for the clown world and the Art Commedia, the desire to know and deepen our particular successful “Method acting” in Germany, France, Switzerland, United States, Canada …
There are no age limits!
We can offer professional actors and not the highest quality in the following subjects, divided into two levels:
Expressive Movement: Technique Developed on the Principle of Lee Strasberg: “Reciting means knowing how to react to imaginary impulses”
Moliere and Goldoni, or the comic of situation
Shakespearean acting techniques
Monologues and audition scenes (also contemporary authors)
Reservations can be accepted by homogeneous groups, for example small theater companies or groups of actors who want to test a common project, even in periods outside the officially scheduled courses.
Depending on the composition of the group we will use Italian, English, French or German courses.
